The village are very poor connectivity due to rocky undulating roads. Their produce is sold in the Quepem Market which is 48 km from kajugotto. The villagers have to walk with their produce as transport is available only till Tiskon village. The Anganwadi is a small room with 10 students. The 5 -10 standard children walk their way to the Dayanand Bandodkar High School in Gokuldem which takes nearly 1 and half hour through the thick jungle.
As there is shortage of water in village during summer villagers prefer to do farming in rainy season. In summer season they bring water from nearest springs.
Their only source of income source is cashew and paddy in the rainy season.
Total number of population in this village is 80 they belong to the ST population, there are only 14 houses, with the children population of 30 and woman’s population of 19.
Only two persons are employed in this village, one is in Panjim government office and another in kadamba, all the others are daily wage labours.
