While most of the Urban Community has lost its touch with nature, which is basically diminished into our corridor vases and flower pots with no parking space for their vehicles, planting trees in the surrounding vicinity is more of a luxury as our vehicles parking have become the necessity.
Hence as much restoration cannot be done it’s sensible to protect those areas where they still exist, i.e. the rural community.
This could be done by roping in every urban stakeholder to invest in rural micro entrepreneurs and service providers by investing their little into the “Discover Goa,” keeping the Green Business on, so as to achieve big returns in the form of health, well being and safety of one self and your children…the present and the future.
The alliance is aimed at networking to reach to the three Pillars of both the urban and rural community...People, Planet and Profit.
The project plans to encourage the rural community to hold on to their tract of land, cultivate it into a Spice Garden / Old Mac Donald's Farm / A Lush Flowery Meadow / A Farm House / An Orchard / Botanical Garden / Herbal Educational Farm/ Healing Centre, etc. The focus is to provide a haven for those seeking a tranquil place to help re-balance mind and body without causing any harm to the natural habitat around them, i.e. a retreat home for those desperate to escape the everyday rigors of modern life.
