The farmers club had the plantation of Cinnamon in their Kulabag however only the leaves (TEJ Patta/Bay Leaves) were sold by the farmers. From the exposure visit the farmers learnt the technique of harvesting the cinnamon for the bark. During Dr.Bingarde & Mr.Vinayak Kamats visit to the Nuvem Farmers Club, the farmers were trained the technique of cutting the bark to harvest the cinnamon. This year the farmers from Dhavorlim farmers club & Nuvem Farmers Club have supplied dry cinnamon along with dry pepper to the Banastari market.
